Today is the 3rd day I’m in Shanghai. Recap…
Thursday midnight (Friday): Left for airport at around 11.35. Reached the airport at 11.50 like that. The flight was supposed to be at 2.05am but it was rescheduled to 1.50am. 1st it was Sarah who reached the airport. Was surprised to see her there as she was not supposed to be there. Next, it was our CP, Mr Ng Choon Siong. Was surprised to see him there too as earlier in the day, he didn’t mention that he wanna come and send me off. Then came Yanyan, Wei Lin, Nadiah and Xianjun, followed by Zihui and Baofa. Another surprising person. Baofa.. In the day, at school, he still tell me that he nv go or what, still jia jia angry with me. Hehe. Went belt 14 to check in our luggage then went Burger King sit sit talk talk. Went in to the custom at around 1.20am. Erm, it was sad…. Thanks to all those people who send me off……
In the plane: Waited till 2.30 then did the plane really took off. Before taking off, me and Selene were chatting. Offered her Hacks to eat. Chatted half way then e plane take off, so stopped talking. After the plane stabilise, reading of letters happened.
Letters were taken out randomly.
1st letter :
Wei Lin’s letter.
This Capri of mine, was the 1st to make me cry. Y? Cause read her letter the 1st ma. What made me really cry not only is the content of the letter, but the prayer in the letter. Thanks Capri.
2nd letter:

She made me cry too… Y? Cause I know she’ll miss me lots lots then if I ask her she’ll deny. So sad ya… ;)

Haha, thanks Xianjun, I had a difficult time reading the letter. It was all in cursive Chinese. Being so, I still managed to finish reading the letter. I didn’t cry while reading her letter, cos no time to cry. To difficult to read le still cry? J

Girl, while reading your letter, it did bring back memories vaguely. J It certainly help me improving my memory. J
Selene was like reading letters too. She cried more than me. L After reading letters, got drinks to drink. After drinking, took a nap. Then wake up after a while, fell aslp after a while, wake up again and off I went, out of the plane. Before landing, I saw that the air was kinda hazy, told Selene “Die, outside so hazy, shall very cold. My ‘punky’ pullover was not worn as it was soooooo punky and I was juz wearing a t-shirt. Anyway, we both were so blur, or rather we din’t know we have to write so many cards. So while I line up to check out of custom, she went to take those necessary cards to write for e officials. Soon, we were out of the custom. Saw our name on a piece of paper. Oh… The company ppl. Haha. Went straight to the office. =( After a while, went to Innovative to meet another 2 OSIP student from NP. There are here since Mar, will be going back in Aug. After that, went Innovative don noe who’s house to put our luggage. Ok, it wasn’t as bad as they’ve said. We had 2 bedrooms, 1 big and 1 moderately small. Asked Selene which room she want then she said anything. As u guys know, I’ll say anything oso, there was no conclusion who take which room. After that, went office to sit again. Omg lo… We were so pathetic. U can see that when sitting down to read the things given to us, we were particularly sitting there, nodding our heads. Y nod? Reason being, we were slping… Haiz… What an agony. Then think around 2+, went up look for Stenson. He asked me to read their minutes of meeting to understand what I’m supposed to do. Around 5, Stenson (the suai boss of mine) asked me and Selene follow him to Rendevouz Restaurant to meet the other committees to my attached company. Only then did I realize that it was a gathering for all the members (who are from Raffles school in Spore, eg RI, RGS, RJC, etc…). We both were like so awkward. Around 8, we told Stenson we go opp to shop. I’d to return to the restaurant at 8.45pm as the Membership Director wants to talk to me. Well, I was early but didn’t wanna go into the restaurant. So around 9, the director (Hsian Pin) came out of the restaurant and saw us. Went in and discuss the project for awhile then off we went to shop again. Bought a Charmmy Kitty notebook and a Little Twin Star pouch for my sis. It costs me RMB246. Went back to the restaurant to look for Stenson, and found him sitting outside Starbucks with Karin, Communications Director (a very chio bu). After smoking 2 cigarettes (Stenson), the chauffeur came to fetch us back.
Saturday (2nd day)Woke up at around 7.30am. Opps… I supposed Selene knocked on my door till her fingers going to break. Haha. She said she knocked very long le. (I locked my room door, for safety reason, but supposed I’m not going to lock it now till I find my alarm clock). Brought my lappy over to the office. As u guys know, China’s pluck is diff as ours, then I 4got to bring e adaptor to office. Luckily, I was able to use it till 12pm. Then it was lunch time. Lunch was provided. They’ll put the rice and food separately. The container will definitely have 1 side of vege and 1 side of meat, then other 2 shall depends, can be vege, meat or egg or wadeva la. Then will have soup oso. The food wasn’t that bad. J So I won’t slim down when I’m here. Anyway, as I was supposed to read the minutes of meeting, I finished reading today. The 2 latest minutes mentioned that they’ll give me allowance of RMB1500. Wow, is that true? I don’t know. When I really have it then shall update you guys. Work finished at 1pm on Saturdays. After work, our chauffeur drove us back home. On e way, went to buy sim card oso. Reached home then msg-ed to inform people of my new number. After everything, took cab to Xing Zhuang Metro (幸庄地铁站) (their Metro is our MRT). It costs us RMB 47. Took the train to People’s Park (人民广场) then I had wanted to go Nanjing Road (南京路) but I think I went out from the wrong exit which led me to Raffles City. Yeah, they’ve Raffles City too. In there, they have breadtalk there too. Haha. Shopped around a while. Then asked people how to go Nanjing Road. After asking a few people, finally we reached Nanjing Road where they have Shanghai No.1 Department Store (上海第一百货) and New World Shopping Centre (新世界). Took a pic with Selene too, using her digi cam.
Walked till don’t know what time (think 7+ 8+) then took a city cab home. Guess what? We 9+ then reach home. Y? Cause the taxi uncle don’t know where’s Song Dong Road (松东路), my house. Called the chauffeur also blur blur. In the end, the cab fare choked up to RMB 147. RMB100 more than what we took to the station. Packed our things then called my friends. Chatted till 2+ then sleep.

Sunday (3rd day)
Woke up at 1.30pm. Switched on my hp then sms-ed Selene see if she wake up already not. Then I can’t SMS. Nvm.. Iron-ed my clothes then ate cup noodles. Then she bath finish le then tried calling her hp, ask her send sms, call me then all cannot. So decided to go buy top up card. Meanwhile, my mother called Selene’s hp to look for me. Anyway, by the time we’re done with everthing, it’s already 5+. As we still got some things yet to buy, decided to try taking bus to take Xing Zhuang Metro (幸庄地铁站) to take metro. In the end, we don’t know how to take cos the place where we want to go (2 places, 1 is don’t know the road name then people don’t know and the other is where we went ytd) don’t have e bus we have at my house here Songjiang 1 lu (松江1路). So in the end, we went to Shanghai No.1 Department Store (上海第一百货) the branch. Tried asking people what bus to take to reach the metro station but don’t know what they talking also. Hey, there’s still communication breakdown though all are speaking Chinese. Anyway, as it was getting dark, we decided to just eat KFC there lo. Took bus home. Omg lo, din’t wanna recall the sandwich packed bus again. This will be the 1st and the last time we’re going to take bus. Our father are going to earn more $$$ for us to flag our hands le. After alighting (we overshot our stop), went back to my opp house the shop there to buy a new sim card. Bought it for RMB85. E shop keeper actually said RMB90 want, but I tld her I bought it for 85 ytd, then she sae ok la ok la. Haha. Went back home to put our bags then we went to cybercafé, just round the corner from our house. Omg lo… The place was so stuffy and smoky. A lot of ppl there so me n Selene have to separate. Used for an hour plus and it costs us only RMB4. It’s RMB3/hr. After that, reached home then we so stupid. Haha. Cos now winter finishing le, or it’s considered finished le, then a lot of mosquitoes le ma, then outside our room got 1 mosquito. We were trying to kill it, but it was very smart. It flew to the ceiling. Haha. So we were saying faster go into the room. Then Selene counted 1,2,3 then boom off the door. Haha.
Ok, the weather now is very shiok. Like Genting but better. Got sun, yet not hot, then the wind blow… weeeeeeee……. So comfortable. Like in an air-con room.
Alright, it’s 12.27am now. Tomorrow is Monday. =( Mondays’ blue… Gota go…
